ABSTRACT: Adaptor for terminating round multiconductor cable to a modular phone plug comprises a base having a planar portion with comb means upstanding from one end thereof, the planar portion being received in the plug cavity, the comb means aligning individual conductors of the cable with troughs underlying terminals in the plug. When the anchoring member of the plug is hinged down into the plug cavity it captures the comb means in the cavity and presses the conductors against the planar portion.
