ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This article of manufacture, hereafter referred to as "Round Robbie", is a torque application device which is comprised of a shaft and a head. The said screwdriver head is of a generally globular or spherical shape having four equal planar sides, with the diameter equal throughout allowing for the insertion or removal of any appropriate fasteners using a square socket type head. The distal end of the head has four equal sides, each of which has an upper slightly inwardly inclined flat portion which merges without discontinuity at its lower end. The proximal portion of the spherical head narrows in similar fashion to a narrowed neck that is in diameter, typically from half to three quarters the diameter of the shaft. These four sides being generally equidistant, brings the said head into engagement with the side boundary of the said cavity of the body of any said fastener. The turning of said screwdriver causes the application of torque directly from said device head to said fastener allowing for the insertion or removal of appropriate fasteners at an oblique angle, transmitting the torque to the screw even when the screwdriver axis and the screw axis are not co-linear. The purpose of the forgoing abstract is to enable the Patent Office and the Public generally to determine from a cursory inspection the nature of the technical disclosure of the application. The abstract is neither intended to define the application of the invention, which is measured by the claims, nor is it intended to be limiting as to the scope of the invention in any way.
