ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A roundness processing method and its device for a slipper surface of a rocker arm capable of rounding the slipper surface of the rocker arm without forming roundness in the pol- ishing surface of a grinding wheel. The polishing surface of a disc-shaped grinding wheel is formed on a plane perpendicular to the rotational axial line of the grinding wheel, while the slip- per surface of the rocker arm which is polished as being pressed against this polishing surface is oscillated about the oscilla- tion axial line positioned at a space of a specified roundness from said polishing surface. Said oscillating shaft line is par- allel to said polishing surface and within a plane perpendicular to said polishing surface containing the contact line between said polishing surface and slipper surface.
