A hydraulically dampened rubber bushing includes radially spaced inner and outer tubes elastically interconnected through a first elastic rubber body means and a second elastic rubber body means in operatively parallel arrangement with the first elastic body. The first elastic body means defines one or more pairs of radially opposite liquid filled chambers. The second elastic body means is axially spaced from the first elastic body means and is positioned between the inner and outer tubes. The second elastic body means is connected with either or both of the tubes and preferably includes two symmetrical terminal elastic bodies symmetrically positioned with respect to the first elastic body means. The rubber bushing has a large load bearing capacity range and an effective insulation and damping of acoustically prominent vibrations may be achieved over the whole of such range.
