A rubber composition which is excellent in sealing properties, heat resistance, and acid resistance, has a low reaction force and low hardness, is reduced in compression set, and has excellent low- temperature recovery, which contributes to sealing properties especially in a low-temperature environment. Also provided are a use of the rubber composition and a main body including the rubber composition mounted thereon. The rubber composition is characterized by comprising a specific ethylene/.alpha.-olefin/unconjugated polyene copolymer [A], an SiH-containing compound [B] having two SiH groups per molecule, and an SiH-containing compound [C] having three SiH groups per molecule.
