ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A highly reversion resistant polyisoprene elastomer composition vulcanized with a low sulfur content is described and used in paper feed belts. The polyisoprene rubber compositions are particularly useful in the paper feed belts used to feed and trans- port paper in xerographic machines and paper sorting machines. The low-sulfur vulcanizate of isoprene provides high resistance to physical degradation due to dynamic mechanical stress under operating conditions.
