The invention concerns a crosslinkable or crosslinked rubber composition having improved hysteretic properties when crosslinked useful for producing a tyre running tread, a method for preparing such a crosslinkable composition, such a running tread and a tyre exhibiting reduced rolling resistance. The inventive rubber composition is based on an elastomer matrix comprising at least a diene elastomer including a carboxylic acid function at one or at each of its two chain ends, and a reinforcing filler including an inorganic reinforcing filler, and is such that said diene elastomer has a mole weight higher than 80000 g/mol and it is present in major amount in said elastomer matrix.
La présente invention concerne une composition de caoutchouc réticulable ou réticulée présentant des propriétés hystérétiques améliorées à l'état réticulé qui est utilisable pour constituer une bande de roulement de pneumatique, un procédé de préparation d'une telle composition réticulable, une telle bande de roulement et un pneumatique présentant une résistance au roulement réduite. Une composition de caoutchouc selon l'invention est à base: d'une matrice élastomère comprenant au moins un élastomère diénique qui comporte une fonction acide carboxylique à l'une ou à chacune de ses deux extrémités de chaîne, et d'une charge renforçante comprenant une charge inorganique renforçante, et elle est telle que ledit élastomère diénique présente une masse moléculaire qui est supérieure à 80 000 g/mol et en ce qu'il est présent en quantité majoritaire dans ladite matrice élastomère.
