The rubber mixtures according to the invention comprising a rubber which has a total content of hydroxyl and/or carboxyl groups of 0.1 to 3 wt.% and 5 to 500 parts by wt., based on 100 parts by wt. of rubber, of hydrophobized oxidic and/or silicate-like filler and optionally further rubbers, rubber auxiliaries and crosslinking agents are suitable for the preparation of rubber vulcanization products with improved physical properties, in particular with improved dynamic damping properties, reduced abrasion and improved wet skidding properties.
