ABSTRACT In a mass polymerization process, substantial improvements, in gloss and/or gloss sensitivity can be achieved by incorporating in the polymerization mixture after the point of phase inversion a specific grafting agent of the formula: R1R2C=Cr5-Cr6-Cr3R4 wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each independently H or Cz1 to Cz1z5 alkyl, preferably H, R5 and R6 are each independently H or a group of the formula: -(CR7R8)n-CR9-CR19R11 wherein R7 is H, Cl, Br or I, preferably H, R8 is H, or a group of the formula -CR9-CR10R11 preferably H Each R9 independently is H or methyl each R10 and each R11 independently is Cz1 to Cz4 alkyl preferably methyl 35,841-F and n is 1 or 2 provided that R5 and R6 are not both hydrogen and preferably R5 is hydrogen. In a preferred embodiment the grafting is myrcene. 35,841-F
