ABSTRACT A rubber support with hydraulic damping means for the damping of vibrations of a select frequency range includes a working chamber and a compensation chamber which chambers are connected by a connecting passage and filled with a hydraulic liquid wherein the connecting passage is constructed as a channel and dimensioned in such a way that a resonance movement of the enclosed volume of liquid results from the transmission of vibrations within the range of frequencies to be dampened and that the connecting passages is restricted by a throttle opening of limited axial extent. A highly effective damping action is achieved over a relatively large range of frequencies with such a rubber support.
