This device is a platform that uses a bed pillow to provide cushioning for running on the spot. The platform is attached to a loop of fabric which is open underneath the platform. This allows a bed pillow to slide into place, securely under the platform. The pillow acts as the primary cushioning mechanism for the running platform. The surface of the platform has secondary cushioning with a layer of carpet underlay. The underlay is covered by a layer of carpet which is fastened to the edge of the platform with wood screws. The end result is a running platform that lessens strain on joints, but still allows for a maximum aerobic workout. The device can be used conveniently indoors and with or without running shoes.
