ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel ruthenium-rhenium-titania catalyst having improved activity maintenance in the production of hydrocarbons via carbon monoxide-hydrogen synthesis reactions is disclosed. A hydrocarbon synthesis pro- cess using this catalyst is also disclosed. High quality middle distillate fuels, characterized gener- ally as admixtures of linear paraffins and olefins, are formed in the process.
