Abstract of the disclosure A process for manufacturing a s-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine derivative of the general formula (I): Image (I) wherein R1 and R2 represent, which may be different or the same, straight- or branched-chain alkyl radical having from one to six carbon atoms, a phenyl radical, or a hydrogen atom; R3 represents a straight- or a branched-chain alkyl radical having from one to six carbon atoms, a phenyl radical, or a substituted phenyl radical; R4 represents a straight- or branched-chain alkyl radical having from one to six carbon atom, a phenyl radical, or a substituted phenyl radical; R5 represents a hydrogen atom, includes a -CH2-CH2-bond together with R1,which comprises the steps of. condensing 3-amino-5-hydroxymethyl-s-triazole with 1,3-diketone of the formula (II): Image (II) in which R6 represents a lower alkyl radical; and R7 represents a hydrogen atom or includes a -CH2-CH2- bond together with R6 to produce a s-triazolo[1,5-a] pyrimidine derivative of the formula (III): - 1 -
