An adsorbent unit (10) consisting of first and second porous fabric containers (14, 15) having adsorbent (17) therein, a connecting member (19) connecting end portions of the containers to each other, and tabs (37, 39) connecting side edge portions of the containers to each other with the containers oriented in side-by-side relationship. The foregoing adsorbent unit is mounted on the U-shaped pipe (53) of a refrigerant accumulator (55) with the connecting member (19) adjacent the return bend (60) of the accumulator (55) and the tabs (37, 39) adjacent the pipe portions (57, 59) of the U-shaped pipe (53). The adsorbent unit can be shrunk relative to the U-shaped pipe after it has been installed thereon.
L'invention concerne un ensemble adsorbant (10) se composant d'un premier et d'un deuxième conteneurs de tissu poreux (14, 15) renfermant un adsorbant (17). Un élément de raccordement (19) raccorde entre elles les parties d'extrémités des conteneurs, et des rabats (37, 39) relient les parties d'extrémités latérales des conteneurs entre elles, de telle sorte que les conteneurs sont placés côte à côte. L'ensemble adsorbant susmentionné est fixé sur un tuyau en forme de U (53) d'un réservoir de réfrigérant (55), l'élément de raccordement (19) étant adjacent au tuyau de retour (60) du réservoir (55) et les rabats (37, 39) étant adjacents aux parties (57, 59) du tuyau en forme de U (53). Une fois installée, l'unité adsorbante peut être rétrécie par rapport au tuyau en forme de U.
