The use of high voltage tubes, and other electrical equipment for the visually impaired, or the use of similar wearable computer systems, virtual reality headsets, and the like, for the enhancement of vision creates an obvious danger in the presence of automated sprinkler systems used in irrigation, or in the presence of similar plumbing technology. Many commercially manufactured VR headsets such as the VR5 which runs at 13,000 volts have ventillation slots in the bottom of the unit, so that a drop of rain from above (natural rain) would not pose a serious danger. However, such systems are often not immune to artificial "rain" being sprayed from below, such as from sprinklers mounted in the ground. Moroever. natural rain comes with warning such as clouds moving in, or the sound of thunder off in the distance. Spray heads often come on suddenly and lack such natural warning features. A safety system for spray heads. sprinklers, or remote or networked plumbing systems is described, wherein proper warning is provided prior to spraying potential victims. In one embodiment, sprinklers provide a staggered and gradual increase of flow so that there is adequate warning. In another embodiment, an alarm signal is produced prior to actuation. In yet another embodiment, a liability signal is broadcast from a computer vision system for being received by the spray heads, wherein a method of doing business in liquid delivery includes the deliverer of liquid being liable for any death or injury or damage; to computer vision equipment that results from spraying in the presence of such liability signal.
