A pressure-relieving safety assembly, comprising a sleeve (108) and collar (104), protects against human injury and loss of Inc by blocking flow of fluid from a ruptured high pressure conduit (114) and provides pressure relief for escaping flu-id. This pressure-relieving assembly includes a sleeve (108) that encircles the high-pressure line and is secured to, at one or both ends of the line, a coupling. The sleeve is secured to the coupling (s) by a collar (104) having raised portions that provides a path for fluid that has escaped from the conduit at a burst or pin-hole failure location, to flow towards the ends of the conduit, indicating to the user that a conduit failure has occurred. The sleeve lowers the fluid velocity while the path provided by the collar prevents the fluid pressure from building up behind the sleeve.
L'invention porte sur un ensemble de sécurité contre la surpression, comprenant un manchon (108) et un collier (104), lequel ensemble de sécurité protège les êtres humains vis-à-vis d'une blessure et de la mort par blocage de l'écoulement de fluide d'un conduit haute pression rompu (114) et assure une détente de pression pour du fluide s'échappant.
