An ear muff style ear protector device having a body for permitting positioning on a wearer's head, and two ear muff ear protectors connected with the body, so the ear protectors can be operatively held relative to a wearer's ears. At least one ear protector can be adapted to selectively enable the wearer to temporarily reduce the level of sound protection to the respective ear to enable external sounds to be heard more clearly. In an embodiment the body is an eye protector assembly, which is connect-ed to the two ear muff ear protectors.
