ABSTRACT The invention comprises a safety apparatus of a robot provided with an intermittent device of a two-port two-position switching valve type which is installed between a filtering device and a direction switching device to supply pressure medium to a direction switching device or cut it off thereto as well as to discharge pressure medium out of this mechanism, thereby controlling the operating o-f each of arms and having a superior maintainnance allowing its repair and replacment of parts to be facilitated and the reduction effeciency of the power comsumtion.
