- 1 - ABSTRACT SAFETY CLOSURE FOR STEAM PRESSURE COFFEE MACHINE WATER RESERVOIRS Such comprising the provision, at the top of the water reservoir (1), of a rather wide hole (2) with a disk-shaped stopper (4), to which is stiffened a rod (6) that projects to the outside and that plays in a guide bush (7), which is mounted coaxially with regard to the hole (2), such stopper (4) tending to be closed, not only because of the reservoir (1) pressure, if such exists, but also because of a spring (12,18, 20) that urges the rod (6) upwards, either directly or through an arm (19) or a push-button (21) which must be pressed by hand in order to open the valve during the filling operation, this latter being made easier by the provision of a funnel (11), that can but need not be sealed with a cover (22).
