ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Safety device is disclosed for the closing edge of door leaf or the like arranged for an overhead movement. The edge is provided with an elastic hollow section (6) whose space (7) is connected with one front side end (8) to an air pressure wave receiver signal transformer (12) by a pipe conduit (11). The hollow space (7) of the section rubber (6) is connected on its other front side end (9) to an air pressure wave transmitter (14) through a further pipe conduit or hose pipes (13).
