TITLE: SAFETY LIGHT INVENTOR: DONNY GUENTHER ABSTRACT A relatively simple and energy efficient motion actuated safety light includes a light emitting diode mounted in a transparent housing in contact with one terminal of a dry cell; a motion actuated switch electrically connectable to the light emitting diode and to the other contact of the dry cell. The device is attached to the spokes of a bicycle wheel and the centrifugal force acting on the motion actuated switch causes the switch to turn on and connect the circuit between the dry cell and the light emitting diode, causing the light emitting diode to turn on. In addition the motion actuated switch allows the switch to flicker on and off with the vibration of the wheel.
