ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A safety lock s disclosed of the type applicable to a controlled structure for the alternative activation of electro alarm circuits, door closing and opening mechanisms and other uses. The lock comprises at least one combinatory core formed by a fixed-base body on which a sliding carriage moves as a movable lock between two positions, those of closure and opening respectively. The carriage is locked by the transversal retention of a plurality of through bolts which, working by the action of springs, in the closure position, enter the fixed body through the corresponding perforations which, ending in a common button inherent to the bed of the key slot, receive the respective setting bolts being of varying length in a predetermined combination; and said key slot having an entrance for insertion of the key that is a plaque comprising lines of grooves which, in coincidence with said setting bolts, determine the different thickness equivalent to the operative travel of each setting bolt, in the course of its perforation through the fixed body, so that each recess or groove of said key can complete the travel of its respective setting bolt up to the point where the respective through bolt defining the release of said movable lock is removed. At least the number and arrangement of the guiding perforations of the setting and through bolts are the same as in the base portion of the carriage, this carriage having means for connection with the controlled structure, which can be operated only as corresponding to one of the limit positions of the carriage.
