The invention relates to a safety mechanism for locks, comprising a handle part or knob (1) which, in a rest position, is freely rotatable and, in the opening or closing position, can be coupled with the locking element (7) of the lock. The invention is characterized in that a radially guided displaceable centrifugal weight (3) is coupled with the handle part or knob (1) and, as of a defined number of rotations of the handle part or knob (1) within a defined period, engages with a stationary part (11) of the lock (12) and blocks further rotations.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de sécurité pour serrures comportant une poignée ou un bouton (1) pouvant tourner librement à l'état de repos et être couplé à l'élément de verrouillage (7) de la serrure à l'état d'ouverture ou de fermeture. Selon l'invention, une masselotte (13), pouvant coulisser de façon radialement guidée, est couplée à la poignée ou au bouton (1).
