A sealed covering for exposed portions of electrical wires 55 at an "end of a protective tube 51, which houses a bus bar 52. A cover shield 60 has a first geometric shape. A plug 10 has two opposing hinged shells forming, in a closed configuration, the first geometric shape at a proximate end 16 and the second geometric shape at a distal end 20. The opposing hinged shells when closed define a cavity 14 for receiving a cable 55, and a flange 16 at the proximate end 16 for receiving said cover shield 60. A fastener 26 is provided at the proximate end 16 of the plug constructed so as to mate 62 with the cover shield 60. The shield is slipped down over the bus bar conduit tube to expose the bus bar end connector. The cable wire lug end is then connected to the bus bar. The cover shield is then slipped up to cover the bus bar end connector and attached cable wire. The end plug device is fitted around the cable and pushed into the cover shield and snapped into place by means of the male button 26 that fits into a mating female hole 62 in the cover shield 60.

L'invention concerne un revêtement étanche pour des parties exposées de fils électriques (55) au niveau d'une extrémité d'un tube de protection (51), qui contient une barre bus (52). Un couvercle de protection (60) a une première forme géométrique. Un bouchon (10) a deux coques articulées opposées formant, dans une configuration fermée, la première forme géométrique au niveau d'une extrémité proximale (16) et la seconde forme géométrique au niveau d'une extrémité distale (20). Lorsqu'elles sont fermées, les coques articulées opposées définissent une cavité (14) pour recevoir un câble (55) et un rebord (16) au niveau de l'extrémité proximale (16) pour recevoir ledit couvercle de protection (60). Un dispositif de fixation (26) est monté au niveau de l'extrémité proximale (16) du bouchon construit de sorte à se coupler (62) au couvercle de protection (60). Le couvercle de protection est glissé vers le bas sur le tube de conduit de barre bus pour exposer le connecteur d'extrémité de barre bus. L'extrémité de cosse du fil de câble est ensuite raccordée à la barre bus. Le couvercle de protection est ensuite glissé vers le haut pour recouvrir le connecteur de d'extrémité de barre bus et fixé au fil de câble. Le dispositif de bouchon d'extrémité est fixé autour du câble et poussé dans le couvercle de protection et mis en place au moyen du bouton mâle (26) qui entre dans un trou femelle de couplage (62) dans le couvercle de protection (60).
