Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to a safety cover plate for electrical wall outlets. A depth dimension provides a shallow trough for sliding plates that are spring biased for movement into recesses to expose the outlets or for movement out of the recesses to mask the outlets. The spring biasing and travel stop means ensure that the plates are secure from tampering. The cover mounting uses the convention mid-point screw.
