A scalpel enabling both safe blade engagement or disengagement and safe passing among personnel during surgical procedures. The blade arm assembly of the scalpel is positionable in three positions, including a retracted position, an operational extended position and a fully extended position for engagement and disengagement of the blade.
L'invention concerne un scalpel qui permet d'opérer des manoeuvres sûres avec la lame à la fois lors de son engagement et son dégagement et lors de son passage d'un membre à l'autre du personnel pratiquant l'intervention chirurgicale. L'ensemble manche de la lame du scalpel offre trois positions possibles: une position de repli, une position de déploiement fonctionnelle, et une position de déploiement total pour l'engagement et le dégagement de la lame.
