ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A safety seat assembly including a seat portion, a pedestal and a pair of tubular members secured to the seat por- tion and the pedestal, respectively, in vertical axial alignment. The tubular members have matching annular end surfaces in mutual rotational contact for permitting 360 degree swiveling of the seat. For preventing the seat portion from moving off the pede- stal, a pivot pin extending within and between the tubular members has stops axially securing the tubular members together. The seat portion has a belt attached to secure the occupant in the seat.
