A safety system for a seat (10) in a ski lift facility comprises first magnetic means cooperating with second magnetic means incorporated into the clothing of a passenger and capable of generating a position in which the passenger (17) is retained on board said seat (10) when the seat (10) is situated outside of the alighting area, and a releasing state upon entering an alighting area. The invention also relates to a method for implementing the safety system.
Un système de sécurité pour un siège (10) d'une installation de remontée mécanique comporte des premiers moyens magnétiques coopérant avec des deuxièmes moyens magnétiques intégrés dans les vêtements d'un passager aptes à générer une position de retenue du passager (17) embarqué sur ledit siège (10) lorsque Ie siège (10) se trouve en dehors des zones de débarquement, et un état de libération au passage dans une zone de débarquement. L' invention porte également sur un procédé de mise en AEuvre du système de sécurité.
