A safety tassel of the pulling cords, use in a venetian blind for example, is disclosed. the safety tassel comprises fixed engaging means to fixedly engage with one of the cords and one or more removable engaging means to releasably engage with other cords. When any little child is looped by the cords over his or her neck by accident, the cords will be automatically released to stop the unfortunate tragedy immediately.
