The invention uses one or more scissor devices, or disks, or cogs such that the axial thermal expansion of a coupling member is amplified such that this amplified movement is used to automatically mitigate the sag of a suspended line; the same ambient temperature change that causes the line to sag concomitantly causes the coupling member to expand, so that sag mitigation is passive and automatic. The invention comprises a device for automatically mitigating thermal expansion sag in suspended lines comprising a coupling member or actuator rod (140) that expands axially with increasing temperature and that is mounted between the proximal arms (110) of a reverse-scissor component (60), said reverse-scissor component having first arms (70) and second arms (80) and a hinge (90) and said arms having distal ends (100) longer than proximal ends (110). Said distal arms are insulated by insulators (130). The reverse hinge acts such that when the proximal arms are moved apart, the distal arms are brought together. The distal arms of the reverse-scissor component are attached to a power line (120) such that when the distal arms are brought together, the slack in the power line is taken up automatically as ambient temperature increases.
Selon l'invention, on utilise un ou plusieurs dispositifs du type ciseaux, disques ou engrenages afin d'amplifier la dilatation thermique axiale d'un élément d'accouplement, de sorte que ce mouvement amplifié permette d'atténuer automatiquement l'affaissement d'une ligne électrique suspendue; le changement de température qui est à l'origine de l'affaissement de la ligne électrique provoque simultanément la dilatation de l'élément d'accouplement, de sorte que l'atténuation de l'affaissement est passive et automatique. L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de compenser automatiquement un affaissement de lignes électriques suspendues provoqué par dilatation thermique. Ce dispositif comprend un élément d'accouplement ou tige de commande (140) qui s'étend axialement à mesure que la température augmente et qui est montée entre des bras proximaux (110) d'un composant du type ciseaux renversés (60). Ce composant comporte un premier bras (70) et un second bras (80) ainsi qu'une charnière (90). Lesdits bras comportent des extrémités distales (100) plus longues que leurs extrémités proximales (110). Lesdits bras distaux sont isolés au moyen d'isolateurs (130). La charnière permet de rapprocher les bras distaux lorsque les bras proximaux sont éloignés. Les bras distaux du composant du type ciseaux renversés (60) sont fixés à une ligne haute tension (120) de sorte que lorsque les bras proximaux sont éloignés, l'affaissement de la ligne haute tension est automatiquement redressé à mesure que la température augmente.
