Pour cela, un pôle saillant de machine électrique synchrone est prévu pour former en un seul bloc un corps polaire radialement interne et un épanouissement polaire radialement externe, et ce pôle saillant est caractérisé en ce que l'épanouissement polaire est massif tandis que le corps polaire est déformable et peut suivre les dilatations thermiques de l'épanouissement polaire.
