The present invention relates to an extract of Salix spp obtainable by fractioning on a resin and to the process for its preparation. The extract of the invention is characterized by an high content in salicin derivatives, reduced content in high molecular tannins and a content in proanthocyanidins sufficient to inhibit some tissue metal proteases. The product is formulated in oils rich in .omega.-3 and .omega.-6 acids which provide a better absorption of the extract active principles, also increasing synergetically their action.

La présente invention concerne un extrait de Salix spp pouvant être obtenu par fractionnement sur résine ; ainsi que son procédé de préparation. L'extrait selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il présente une teneur élevée en dérivés de salicine, une teneur réduite en tannins de masse moléculaire élevée, et une teneur en proanthocyanidines suffisante pour inhiber certaines métallo-protéases de tissus. Le produit est formulé avec des huiles riches en acides ?-3 et ?-6, ce qui permet une meilleure absorption des principes actifs de l'extrait, ainsi qu'une augmentation synergétique de leur action.
