ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A new salt of [(benzyl-lH-indazol-3-yl)oxy] acetic acid (or bendazac) with the lysine. Following oral administra- tions of this compound in man, the concentrations of bendazac found in the blood are higher and more reproducible than those obtained after administration of bendazec as such. This discovery dramatically extends the therapeutic use of bendazac. In fact, whereas up to now bendazac could only been used topical- ly in inflammatory conditions the above mentioned new salt of bendazac makes it possible to perform therapeutic treatments with the oral route of administration as an anticataract agent.
