A salt platform is disclosed which incorporates a top member, a bottom member and a spacing member that spaces the top and bottom members a pre-determined vertical distance apart. A series of bracing member assemblies are connected between the top member and bottom member to provide support for the salt platform. The top surface of the top member and top portions of the bracing member assemblies lie in a single plane to support a salt grid.
