ABSTRACT This invention relates to a salt spreader includ- ing a container for salt and a perforated bottom plate. Salt falls through the bottom plate when the bottom plate moves. The bottom plate is movable in a horizontal direc- tion relative to the container and the salt in the contain- er, such that the salt falls through the perforations of the bottom plate when it moves, while the container and the salt in it remains stationary.
