ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE Amine salts of 3-phenyl-6-halo-4-hydroxypyridazines of the formula: Image in which X is a chlorine or bromine atom and R1 is an alkyl group containing up to 14 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group containing up to 6 carbon atoms or a cycloalkyl group contain 5, 6 or 7 carbon atoms, which groups may be substituted by a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group containing up to 10 carbon atoms, nitrile group, amino group or mono- or dialkylamino group in which the alkyl group has up to 6 carbon atoms, and R2 and R3 have the same meaning as R1 or each is a hydrogen atom, or R1 and R2 together with the nitrogen atom of the amine form a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group which may also contain oxygen; a process for their preparation and herbicidal compositions containing them.
