ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In an electronic musical instrument, a circuit is provided for maintaining a signal corresponding to a depressed key after the latter key has been released. The circuit com- prises a charge storage capacitor charged by a feed back loop including two series connected gates to a value corresponding to the depressed key. One of the gates is opened when the key is depressed and the other is closed when the charge on the capacitor reaches the value corresponding to the depressed key and remains closed for a time after the key has been released. The invention avoids the problems of the prior art which utilized two ganged switches.
