ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A sample holding circuit applicable as an output circuit for CCD (charge coupled device) or other delay line. The sample holding circuit includes a sample holding stage and at least one amplifier circuit connected to the input and/or output of the sample holding stage. The amplifier circuit is arranged to amplify a signal at a gain substantially equal to 1 without introducing any DC level shift.
