SAMPLING DEVICE FOR MOLTEN METALS Abstract of the Invention Sampling device for liquid metals, which device contains a pipe and a head fixed on an end thereof, wherein a sampling chamber is formed, which head contains a part of fireproof material which partially limits the sampling chamber, which is provided with a supply orifice to the sampling chamber and which is put in the pipe with a narrow end in such a way that the sampling chamber is located entirely outside of the pipe and at least one small cooling plate forming at least a part of the well of the sampling chamber and thus also limits this sampling chamber, chara- terized in that the part is made of a material that at least during the sampling offers a structure letting gas pass.
