An agitator tool for use in a formation containing oil. The tool includes outwardly projecting agitator members and an intake member coaxially disposed and vertically spaced from said agitator members. This disposition facilitates the formation of a suspension volume within which particulate debris is suspended and thus is substantially prevented from entering into the intake member.

La présente invention a pour objet un agitateur destiné à être utilisé dans les gisements contenant du pétrole. L'agitateur en question comporte des éléments en projection vers l'extérieur ainsi qu'un corps d'admission disposé coaxialement et verticalement espacé des éléments agitateurs. Cette disposition favorise la formation d'un volume de suspension à l'intérieur duquel les débris particulaires sont maintenus en suspension, ce qui prévient significativement la pénétration des débris à l'intérieur du corps d'admission.
