A sand reclaiming drum incorporates an inner and outer cylinder, having a helical vane located intermediate thereof, with the media drum being supported upon a base and rotated by a drive motor. The drum contains two parts, an entrance segment and an exit segment. Ac the exit segment, reclaiming media and sand passes into the space between the inner and outer cylinders and is carried to the entrance segment by the helical vanes. At the entrance segment, the media is picked up by a reclaimer which reintroduces the media into the reclaimer to recycle the media.
