324885 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A sandwiched panel is disclosed which comprises two spaced apart sheets of a stiff material, such as woody material, a core of an expanded plastics material placed internally between the sheets and a frame sur- rounding such core and also placed between the sheets, The frame material is denser (harder) than the core material and both are united together and to the outer sheets. A machine and a method for such a kind of manu- facture are also disclosed.
