A sanitary, protective barrier covering, which is attachable to lids that accompany beverage containers/cups, particularly disposable containers for coffee or other hot beverages. The sanitary barrier comprises a thin flexible strip of material that covers the entire area on which consumers place their mouths. It is adhered to the lid with a light, food grade adhesive. The sanitary barrier has an extended pull tab that is not adhered to the lid and extends beyond the bottom wall of the lid and can be easily gripped to allow the strip to be pulled up and away from the lid for easy removal of the sanitary barrier.
L'invention concerne un revêtement barrière de protection sanitaire, qui peut être attaché aux couvercles associés aux contenants/tasses de boisson, en particulier des contenants jetables pour café ou autres boissons chaudes. La barrière sanitaire comporte une mince bande flexible de matière qui recouvre l'intégralité de la zone sur laquelle les consommateurs placent la bouche. Elle est collée au couvercle par le biais d'un léger adhésif de qualité alimentaire. La barrière sanitaire a une languette de traction faisant saillie qui n'est pas collée au couvercle et s'étend au-delà de la paroi inférieure du couvercle et peut être facilement saisie pour permettre de tirer la bande vers le haut et à distance du couvercle à des fins de retrait simple de la barrière sanitaire.
