SANITARY LEVER FOR LIQUID DISPENSING APPARATUS Abstract A sanitary lever is provided for receptacle actuated dispensers for dispensing carbonated beverages or the like into a receptacle when the latter is pushed against the le- ver to initiate the dispensing operation. The receptacle has a lip area adjacent the open upper end thereof which is contacted by the mouth of a person drinking therefrom, and the sanitary lever is structured and oriented relative to the axis of the dispensing nozzle of the liquid dispenser so as to require the user to engage the lever with the recepta- cle at a location on the receptacle below the lip area in order to position the receptacle to receive liquid from the dispensing nozzle and thus to preclude contamination of the lever by contact of the lip area therewith.
