IN THE UNITED STATES PATENT AND TRADEMARK OFFICE PATENT APPLICATION entitled : SANITARY NAPKIN in the name of : Pierre FRANCO ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disposable sanitary napkin comprising an absorbent structure imprisoned between an outer, impermeable film and an inner, permeable covering, by the edges of the film and the edges of the covering being joined together. Said absorbent structure comprises a main absorbent pad having the form of an oblong, tapering towards the rear, and having two side swellings and possibly a secondary absorbent pad less compact than the main absorbent pad. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a sanitary napkin.
