The invention concerns a sanitary shredder comprising at least a channel feeding water into a caisson (1), an electric motor whereof the axis has at its end a rotor pump (5) with blades (6), and shredding means opposite the shredding chamber (3) provided with an inlet. The invention is characterised in that the front surface (5a) of the rotor (5) is substantially planar and comprises a plurality of passages for water arranged substantially radially and emerging on the circumference of the rotor (5), each passage of the rotor (5) is extended by a channel delimited by the helical blades (6), said rotor (5) is housed in the pump body (8), its front surface (5a) being substantially in the plane of the pump body opening, shredding members (9) being arranged in axial projection relative to said front surface (5a).

L'invention concerne un broyeur sanitaire comportant au moins un canal d'amenée des eaux dans un caisson (1), un moteur électrique dont l'axe présente à son extrémité une pompe à rotor (5) à pales (6), et des moyens de broyage en regard d'une chambre de dilacération (3) munie d'une ouverture d'entrée. Selon l'invention, la face avant (5a) du rotor (5) est sensiblement plane et comporte une pluralité de passages pour l'eau disposés sensiblement radialement et débouchant sur la circonférence du rotor (5), chaque passage du rotor (5) se prolonge par un canal délimité par des pales hélicoïdales (6), ledit rotor (5) est logé dans le corps (8) de la pompe, sa face avant (5a) étant sensiblement dans le plan de l'ouverture du corps de pompe, des organes de dilacération (9) étant disposés en saillie axiale par rapport à ladite face avant (5a).
