The present invention is directed to a sanitizer that includes (a) a sulfonated compound selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid and esters and salts thereof; (b) a solvent for the sulfonated compound; (c) a solubilizing agent for the sulfonated compound; and (d) an antimicrobial agent. The steps used to prepare the sanitizer include: (a) contacting the sulfonated compound with the solvent; and (b) contacting the solubilizing agent with the solvent. The time between the two contacting steps is preferably no more than about 20 minutes.

L'invention concerne un assainissant qui renferme (a) un composé sulfoné choisi dans le groupe comprenant un acide gras, des esters et des sels de cet acide; (b) un solvant pour le composé sulfoné en question; (c) un agent de solubilisation pour ledit composé; et (d) un antimicrobien. Les étapes de préparation de l'assainissant sont les suivantes : (a) mise en contact du composé sulfoné et du solvant; et (b) mise en contact de l'agent de solubilisation et du solvant. De préférence, le temps qui s'écoule entre ces deux étapes est d'environ 20 minutes.
