Abstract of the Invention A latch device for securely locking a keeper mounted on a window within a latch housing located on a window frame. The latch includes a locking bolt which is biased into an open position by a spring. The handle is coupled to the bolt through links. Rotation of the handle causes rotation of the bolt which captures and may lift the keeper to accommodate keeper misalignment.
