This invention provides a thermoplastic multilayer resinous film in which two or more resinous materials form a plurality of very thin layers of substantially uniform thickness, the layers being substantially parallel, the contiguous adjacent layers being of different transparent thermoplastic resinous materials differing in refractive index, each of the outermost skin layers being at least 5 % of the total thickness of the film and the multilayer film containing a sufficient quantity of a pearlescent pigment to render it non-glossy.
Film résineux multicouche thermoplastique dans lequel au moins deux matières résineuses forment une pluralité de couches très minces d'une épaisseur sensiblement uniforme, ces couches étant sensiblement parallèles, et les couches adjacentes étant composées de différentes matières résineuses thermoplastiques transparentes à indice de réfraction différent, chacune des couches pelliculaires extérieures constituant au moins 5 % de l'épaisseur totale du film et le film multicouche contenant une quantité suffisante d'un pigment perlé pour le rendre non brillant.
