A stockpot/steamer. The stockpot/steamer consists of a stockpot, a steamer tray and a cover. The stockpot has a periphery and a bottom which is integrally formed together with the periphery thereof. An annular portion of the periphery of the stockpot is pressed radially inward so as to form an annular shoulder in the stockpot. The steamer tray is mounted on the annular shoulder which is formed in the stockpot in order to support food which is to be steamed.
